《黃帝內經》指出:“冬三月,此謂閉藏……早臥晚起,必待日光。”小雪時節,為了利于陽氣潛藏、陰精蓄積,建議人們在生活起居方面早睡晚起,日出而作,確保擁有充足的睡眠。
